Gail Bryden, JustBe Botanicals
JustBe Botanicals is a feel good range for mind, body & home that include all natural skincare, sensory spa treatments, organic herbal teas and aromatherapy chocolates. In addition to smelling gorgeous, they’re emotionally nourishing and are packed full of therapeutic benefits.
At the heart of JustBe is the desire to restore emotional balance and enhance a sense of wellbeing. JustBe invites us to ask the simple question ‘How would you like to feel’ and offers a positive way of being for example Happy, Active, Energised – providing touch points to engage our 5 senses. JustBe encourages us to focus our attention on what we want. Essential oils are a powerful way to bypass the conscious mind and access the place in our brain where memories and emotions are stored. Which is why our sense of smell and aromatherapy can change the way that we feel.
All JustBe products are hand-blended in small batches in Scotland using purely naturally ingredients with the soul purpose of making you feel consciously alive. The company’s core values are authenticity, passion & purity with a healthy dose of fun.
JustBe has been developed by Scottish Aromatherapist & holistic therapist Gail Bryden to encourage others to simply ‘just be’ themselves. Having experienced the effect of stress 1st hand, Gail retrained as a therapist with the primary aim of regaining her own sense of wellbeing. Over the last six years, Gail has created and developed the JustBe range picking up numerous awards and a loyal following for her innovative range. One of the original blends JustBe Happy remains the most popular, as in essence we all want to be happy.
The all natural facial range has recently been launched into 4 of the WholeFoods flagship stores: Piccadilly Circus, High Street Kensington, Richmond and Giffnock in Glasgow. And the spa treatments are now available from Shetland to Maidstone in Kent. The luxury Armathwaite Hall Spa in the Lake District offers all 8 of JustBe’s Spa treatments. White Stuff in George Street, Edinburgh offer the JustBe range of organic herbal teas as part of their Meet & Make tea stop. And the JustBe Loved botanically rippled ice-cream is available at Wendy’s in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
A key achievement for this year was reaching the semi finals of the Virgin Media #VOOM, a competition which provides the opportunity to pitch to Richard Branson. Gail is also delighted that JustBe Botanicals has been included in this years Small Business 100.
