Our Ambassador Charts Stellar Success with a LUCA
ValueAdd Business Solutions Ltd (VABS) are delighted to announce that they are this year’s proud winners of Large Practice of the Year, awarded by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Taking the trip to London from Glasgow, VABS attended the ‘Oscars’ of the bookkeeping world, having been shortlisted in no less than two categories - Employed Bookkeeper of the Year and Large Practice of the Year.
Founder and Owner of VABS, Michelle Smith, was honoured to receive the LUCA statuette from HRH Prince Michael of Kent during a glittering gala evening. The LUCA Awards are so named in honour of Luca Pacioli, the Cistercian monk and one-time collaborator with Leonardo Da Vinci, who is credited with developing the process of double entry bookkeeping that still endures today.
The team at VABS are thrilled with their success as they place so much emphasis on the success of their own clients. With a founding philosophy of flexibility and efficiency, VABS strive to support the day to day running of companies all over the UK so that they can focus on the business growth and development.
“We are so very proud to have been awarded the LUCA for the ICB’s Large Practice of the Year. We are a close-knit and hardworking team and we are totally delighted with our win. Not only does it confirm our status as a business that’s going places but we are also just five years young – to get this award is wonderful. We’re really pleased to see 2016 out with an award of this statute but we’re already looking forward to the year ahead and the business growth we can support” said Michelle Smith, Founder & Director, of ValueAdd Business Solutions.
