“As a CEO, you need to lead your team with positivity. You need to set goals and long-term visions. What is more important is to set examples through one’s own work ethic, and I achieve this by being a very hands on CEO.” Poonam Gupta OBE
Poonam Gupta OBE, founder of PG Paper and Women’s Enterprise Scotland Ambassador, will share her journey and help inspire yours at this exclusive event on 22nd May.
Like all business journeys, there have been ups and downs and Poonam will share her experiences of juggling business, parenthood and a period of extreme ill health. She is particularly passionate about supporting women in business and will discuss the importance of networks and mentoring to support female entrepreneurs from start up to growth enterprises.
Poonam believes that with success comes social responsibility and she was appointed OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the New Year Honours in 2017 for services to business and charity. On her frequent business visits to India, she always takes time to visit humanitarian projects, particularly the schools and orphanages she and her husband Puneet support. Poonam is also a member of the Board for Women’s Business Mentoring and is an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland.
Representatives from both Women’s Enterprise Scotland and Entrepreneurial Scotland will be there on the night to welcome guests and facilitate networking.
Come and join Poonam, be inspired and network with fellow entrepreneurial minded individuals.
