After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we're delighted to hold the Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards 2022, as we mark our 10th Anniversary. We're celebrating and recognising the notable contribution women-led businesses make to Scotland's economy.

Clare is a former radio and TV broadcaster. Her career at the BBC spanned three decades, where she presented BBC R4 (PM) and BBC Radio Scotland (Good Morning Scotland).

Clare currently sits on the board of Women’s Enterprise Scotland and is a keen advocate for “equality of opportunity” with specific interest in education and women’s issues.

Currently she curates, produces and presents a podcast series - Ripples- about the unintended consequences of big events or decisions.

Guest Speaker - Yvette C. Hopkins

Senior Executive leader; Board Advisor, Trustee, & Director; Global Scot, CEO LeadHershipXchange

Most recently, Yvette was an Executive with SaxaVord Space Centre in Shetland focused on delivery of the UK's first sovereign vertical launch and acceleration of a Scottish space-based economy.  Yvette is an ardent champion of girls and women in the Scottish Space economy and serves in multiple board roles to that end. 

Previously, Colonel (retired) Yvette served a 28-year career as a US Army officer. A combat proven leader, Yvette has years of experience in direct conflict and in senior organizational Leadership. 

She lives a not-so-quiet life in Shetland.
